Ahahhhh...here comes my flower girl! I know peoples might say that it looks very simple. Why should I feel so excited? What's so special about this drawing?
My idol, Emila Yusof is a precise illustrator. She takes care every details in her drawing and her artworks have never fail to impress viewers. One of her favourite is to draw flower girl. I don't know where she got the idea of drawing a girl surrounded with flowers and leaves... but that's really awesome!
Well, copyright is prohibited and she always put a stress on her blog regarding this matter. Gulpp...I set on my mind that I could always learn to sharpen my drawing skills from her, but never ever draw anything similar to her artwork although I'm not doing it for commercial purpose. I better find my own drawing identity. Safer :)
Therefore, this drawing means a lot to me. I feel like I've found my own drawing identity. Combination of drawing art and nature. See, I use real flowers in my drawing! Anybody wants to know where the flowers come from? (^_^)
It took a couple of days for me to finish this new project. Well, that's most probably because I didn't have enough/ suitable time. It's my new creative idea and the best part is I've got more ideas now! Great!!
I'm very happy and satisfy with the result. It's going to be my kick start. I will try to upload it tomorrow...see whether you like it or not (^_^). Suddenly I think about a very talented illustrator, my dedication to Emila Yusof.

A mug of Milo in the morning. This week, I don't have enough time to draw. And I don't have scanner on my table. No..no...where there's a will, there's a way!10 minutes a day should be enough. Draw simple things around..and do it consistently.Practice and practice!
Hooray! Very happy to see my dragon blanket was already on my table this morning. Love it so much. Thank you, Anmum! Seems like I need to redeem one more blanket...which means, I have to drink more Anmum Lacta :-) Otherwise the dragon might lost its hand...
