Illustration Friday- Water
I don't know why I love this drawing so much! A possible reason might be because it reminds me to a scene from my favourite movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Epilogue http://pirates.wikia.com/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean:_At_World%27s_End
Ten years later, Elizabeth and her son, William Turner III watch the setting sun sink into horizon, and then a flash of green light as the Flying Dutchman reappears, signifying Will's return from the Land of the Dead.
Elizabeth Turner and William Turner III await Will's return.

Illustration Friday- Book
A famous quote:
“When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes.”

Illustration Friday- Crooked
After reading an email from Illustration Friday about the topic of this week, I opened my dictionary to look up for the word "crooked". The word sounds familiar but I couldn't recall the meaning.
Crook means a dishonest person. That used-car salesman is a real crook.
Crook means a bend or curve in something.
Crook also means a long stick with a large hook at one hand.
But then, I realized that "crook" is not a new word for me after I found the famous idiom.. "by hook or by crook"
These are information that I got from my dictionary. But Illustration Friday gives me more definitions of the word and believe me, it's a good platform for us to learn and understand a new vocabulary from other peoples' perspectives.

Illustration Friday- Lonely
Sometimes in our lives we all have pain.
We all have sorrow.
But if we are wise.
We know that there's always tomorrow.
~ from 'Lean On Me'

Illustration Friday- Lost
My kids love Ultraman so much. I bought plenty of toys for them, but they will only pick Ultraman and Monster to play with. One day, Haikal told me that the Monster lost its head. I told him that maybe the Ultraman fired his heat ray to the monster during the fight and burnt its head.

Illustration Friday- Secret
Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators.
Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys.
Detective book series were my favourites when I was in primary school. The thrilling journey to solve the riddles, secrets and mysteries inside the books chased me to read till the end. I even dreamt to become a detective (^_^).

Illustration Friday- Shiny
Topic of this week is SHINY. Haikal and Anas are very happy whenever I ask them to help me washing the dishes. I know their real intention is to play with the water but never mind. At least they are trained to lend a hand in household chores.
